Terms of Use

Version 1.0 — April 15, 2026  |  Professional Event Management Platform

Preamble
These Terms of Use (hereinafter “ToU”) govern access to and use of the TRIPNBUSINESS platform (hereinafter “the Platform”), published and operated by TRIPNBUSINESS (hereinafter “the Publisher”). By accessing the Platform, the User acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these ToU in their entirety without reservation.

Article 1 — Definitions

  • “Platform”: all TRIPNBUSINESS services, including the public website, mobile application and administration back-office.
  • “Publisher”: the company JG LTD, registered in Mauritius, operating under the TRIPNBUSINESS brand.
  • “User”: any individual accessing the Platform (attendee, exhibitor, VIP, VVIP or administrator).
  • “Participant”: any person registered for an event organised through the Platform.
  • “Administrator”: any person with access to the administration back-office.
  • “Event”: any professional event created, published and managed through the Platform.
  • “Wallet”: the multi-currency electronic wallet (EUR and XOF) associated with the User’s account.
  • “Content”: any text, image, video, document or data published on the Platform.
  • “E-SIM”: the electronic SIM card optionally available to participants for their travel destination.
  • “B2B Meeting”: professional meetings organised between participants in the context of an event.

Article 2 — Purpose

These ToU define the conditions under which the Publisher makes the TRIPNBUSINESS platform and associated services available to Users, including:

  • Browsing and registering for professional events via the public website
  • Access to the mobile app for managing the programme, personal agenda, B2B meetings, wallet and contact network
  • Use of the administration back-office for managing events, users and transactions (Administrators only)
  • Access to the City Guide covering practical information and points of interest in host cities
  • Payment and multi-currency electronic wallet services
  • Communication and networking services between participants

Article 3 — Access to the Platform

3.1 Access Requirements

Access to the Platform is reserved for adults or duly authorised legal representatives of legal entities. The User declares having full legal capacity to accept these ToU.

3.2 Account Creation

Access to Platform features requires the creation of a personal account. The User agrees to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information (email address, name, professional details)
  • Choose a secure password and keep it confidential
  • Notify the Publisher immediately of any unauthorised use of their account

The User is responsible for all activities carried out from their account. Any connection made using a User’s credentials is presumed to have been made by that User.

3.3 Authentication and Security

The Platform offers security mechanisms including OTP (One-Time Password) verification by email, a “Remember me” option and password reset by email. Inactive sessions expire automatically to protect account security.

3.4 Availability

The Publisher endeavours to ensure Platform availability 24/7. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or force majeure. The Publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of temporary unavailability.

Article 4 — Event Registration

4.1 Registration Process

Registration for an event is completed via the multi-step form on the public website. Registration is confirmed subject to full payment or a deposit, according to the terms defined for each event.

4.2 Participant Categories

The Platform distinguishes between several participant categories: standard attendee, exhibitor, VIP and VVIP. Each category may provide access to specific services and pricing as defined by the event organiser.

4.3 Registration Status

A registration may be pending, confirmed or cancelled. The Publisher reserves the right to cancel a registration in the event of non-payment, confirmed fraud or breach of these ToU.

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions are defined for each event and communicated to the User before finalising registration. In the event of cancellation at the User’s initiative, refund terms depend on the notice period and the event-specific rules.

Article 5 — Financial Services and Electronic Wallet

5.1 Multi-Currency Wallet

The Platform offers an electronic wallet allowing the User to manage funds in EUR and XOF. Users can check their balance, view transaction history and make top-ups, transfers and payments within events.

5.2 Wallet Top-Up

The User may top up their wallet by credit/debit card or via PayPal. Preset amounts are available (from €5 to €250). The EUR/XOF conversion rate is displayed in real time before any transaction, and a summary is shown before final confirmation.

5.3 Payments and Transactions

Each transaction is subject to confirmation and a receipt. The Publisher maintains a viewable history of all transactions (top-ups, payments, transfers, refunds).

5.4 Saved Payment Cards

The User may save one or more payment cards on the Platform. Card data is processed securely. The User may set a default card, edit or delete saved cards at any time.

5.5 Refunds

Refunds are processed in accordance with the conditions defined for each event. In the event of a dispute, the User may contact the Publisher’s customer support. Refunds are issued via the original payment method or credited to the User’s wallet, as applicable.

5.6 Payment Security

The Publisher implements all necessary technical and organisational measures to secure financial transactions. Any suspicious activity may result in temporary account suspension pending verification.

Article 6 — Mobile Application and Features

6.1 Programme and Agenda

The mobile app gives access to the detailed event programme, organised by day and activity type (ceremony, panel, masterclass, networking, break, visit, meal, etc.). Users can add sessions to their personal agenda and sync it with their phone’s calendar.

6.2 B2B Meetings

The Platform includes a B2B meeting management module allowing Users to plan, modify and track professional meetings with other participants. Users can view participant profiles, access associated documents, add personal notes and set reminders, and contact counterparts via LinkedIn or phone.

6.3 Networking and Participant Directory

Users have access to a directory of participants registered for the event, subject to each participant’s privacy settings. They may search for participants, view profiles, send meeting requests and scan a participant’s badge using the app’s built-in QR Code reader.

6.4 QR Code and Check-in

The app features a QR Code system for on-site check-in, QR Code payment and contact exchange. Users can display their own QR Code / badge from within the app.

6.5 City Guide

The City Guide provides practical information and points of interest in the event’s host city: partner hotels, recommended restaurants, available transport, tourist attractions and emergency information. Each location can be viewed on an interactive map.

6.6 E-SIM

The Platform optionally offers the purchase of an E-SIM for the event destination. Users can purchase, activate and manage their E-SIM directly from the app, monitor data consumption and top up. This service is provided in partnership with third-party operators and subject to their terms.

6.7 Notifications

The app sends push notifications for meeting reminders, received messages and event news. Users can configure their notification preferences from their profile and disable any or all communications at any time.

Article 7 — User Obligations and Responsibilities

7.1 Fair and Lawful Use

The User agrees to use the Platform fairly, in accordance with these ToU, applicable laws and regulations, and the rights of third parties. In particular, Users may not:

  • Impersonate a third party or provide false information during registration
  • Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent or public-order-violating purposes
  • Disrupt the functioning of the Platform or attempt unauthorised access
  • Collect or use other Users’ personal data without their consent
  • Post, transmit or distribute unlawful, defamatory, obscene or rights-infringing content
  • Use bots, scripts or any automated means to access the Platform without authorisation

7.2 User-Submitted Content

The User is solely responsible for the content they submit via the Platform (profile information, notes, documents, etc.). They warrant that such content does not infringe any intellectual property rights or applicable regulations. The Publisher reserves the right to remove any non-compliant content.

Article 8 — Intellectual Property

All elements constituting the Platform (interface, design, texts, images, logos, source code, database, etc.) are the exclusive property of the Publisher or are subject to licences granted to the Publisher. Any unauthorised reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation or exploitation of these elements is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable by law.

The Publisher grants the User a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use, limited to using the Platform in accordance with these ToU. This right of use shall not be construed as a transfer of intellectual property.

Article 9 — Personal Data Protection

9.1 Data Controller

The Publisher is the data controller for personal data collected through the Platform, including: identity and contact information, professional information, browsing data, payment data (processed securely) and location data (with consent).

9.2 Processing Purposes

  • User account management and authentication
  • Organisation and management of event registrations
  • Payment processing and electronic wallet management
  • Provision of networking and B2B meeting services
  • Sending notifications and event-related communications
  • Service improvement and production of anonymised statistics
  • Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations

9.3 User Rights

In accordance with applicable data protection regulations, the User has the right to access, rectify, erase, port, object to and restrict the processing of their data. These rights may be exercised by contacting the Publisher at the dedicated data protection email address. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

9.4 Data Retention

Personal data is retained for the period necessary for the performance of these ToU and in accordance with applicable legal obligations. Financial transaction data is retained in compliance with applicable accounting and tax obligations.

9.5 Data Sharing

Users’ personal data is not sold to third parties. It may be shared with technical service providers (hosting, payment, email, E-SIM) strictly within the scope of service delivery, under confidentiality guarantees. Within networking features, certain profile information may be visible to other participants according to the User’s chosen settings.

Article 10 — Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure proper service operation, remember User preferences (language, session) and produce aggregated, anonymised usage statistics. Users may configure their browser or mobile device to limit or refuse these technologies, with the understanding that some features may be affected as a result.

Article 11 — Publisher’s Liability

11.1 Limitation of Liability

The Publisher takes all reasonable steps to ensure the quality, security and continuity of the service. However, the Publisher cannot be held liable for:

  • Temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, updates or force majeure
  • Acts or omissions by Users in breach of these ToU
  • Content published by Users on the Platform
  • Indirect, consequential or immaterial losses or damages arising from use of the Platform
  • Content or services offered by third-party platforms accessible via links (LinkedIn, Maps, Waze, Yango, PayPal, E-SIM operators, etc.)

11.2 Force Majeure

The Publisher shall not be held liable for any failure to meet its obligations resulting from a force majeure event as defined by law, including internet infrastructure outages, natural disasters or administrative decisions.

Article 12 — Account Suspension and Termination

The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User’s account, with or without notice, in the event of:

  • Breach of these ToU
  • Fraudulent activity or suspicion of fraud
  • Non-payment of amounts due
  • Conduct detrimental to other Users or to the Publisher
  • A request by the User themselves

Upon termination, the User will no longer be able to access the Platform. Any remaining wallet balance will be refunded in accordance with applicable conditions, less any amounts owed to the Publisher.

Article 13 — Changes to the ToU

The Publisher reserves the right to modify these ToU at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Platform. The User will be notified of any material change by email and/or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated ToU. If the User rejects the updated ToU, they have 30 days to close their account.

Article 14 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These ToU are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mauritius. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavour to reach an amicable resolution. Failing that, the competent courts of the Republic of Mauritius shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Article 15 — Miscellaneous

15.1 Entire Agreement

These ToU constitute the entire agreement between the Publisher and the User and supersede all prior agreements relating to the subject matter defined herein.

15.2 Severability

Should any provision of these ToU be declared null or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15.3 Non-Waiver

The Publisher’s failure to enforce any provision of these ToU shall not be construed as a waiver of the right to enforce it at a later date.
